Talk about the vulnerable parts in the LCD screen

10.07.2023

1. Which parts of the LCD screen are easily damaged?

Although the structure of the LCD screen is relatively complicated, some parts have a long service life, and some parts have a relatively short service life and high vulnerability rate. If the display screen is found to be faulty, all we have to do is to check these parts and judge which part is damaged according to the fault status fed back from the screen.

Components such as LED light sources, high voltage boards, lighting fixtures, built-in power supplies, driver boards, motherboard chips, backlight boards, polarizers and data cables are all vulnerable parts.

Once one of these components fails, the screen will not work properly.

2. Methods of diagnosing screen failures

There are many diagnostic methods for display LCD faults, and each part of the fault feedback problem is different, which needs to be identified through experience and daily technical accumulation.

For example, if the light source is not on, it is because of the problem of the high voltage board, the screen flickers or does not flicker. This situation may also be caused by the aging or damage of the lamp tube, which can only be solved by replacing the light source or the high-voltage board.

The wire is damaged, such as the internal circuit failure of the display LCD screen, which will cause the display screen to be unclear in color or even have no signal transmission. At this time, replace the circuit to restore it.

If the driver board is damaged, the LCD screen can not be opened normally, even if it can be opened can not display the image. This problem is caused by damage to the motherboard inside the screen, the most difficult to repair, high maintenance costs.

In addition to the above faults, such as data cable faults, circuit board faults, built-in power supply faults, etc, all need to pass some professional tests to determine. Try to find professional and technical personnel to help check to avoid secondary damage caused by private repairs.
