How to repair the broken wire of tft lcd display?

In the TFT LCD display module, line defects can be divided into four categories according to the cause of formation and the shape of the position:

1. Linear defects of screen interruption lines:

Wire break in the graphic on the display, the mains voltage comes from a wire break.

2. Short circuit of linear defects in the screen:

Graphics in the display are shorted and screen wires that do not require voltage receive voltage.

3. Linear defects between terminals short circuit:

Two adjacent graphs show wires shorted and other unnecessary wires receive voltage.

4. Transmission abnormal defects:

The abnormal line defect of the drive is the problem of the drive circuit, and other line defects are related to the process of the display terminal. These line defects can be repaired by adjusting the driving circuit and replacing COF/COG. Broken line defects in LCD screens are the most common defects. Disconnection and linear defects are mainly data line disconnection, and the design countermeasures of disconnection repair can be introduced in the design of the display screen, which can greatly improve the pass rate of the product.

 

Repair methods are mainly divided into two design strategies: 

Off-screen repair and On-screen repair.

1. Off-screen repair design for disconnection. Through the wiring under the screen, the data signal is synchronously transmitted to the broken line that cannot be displayed normally, so as to realize the normal operation of the display screen.

2. In-screen maintenance design for disconnection. It can be realized by pixel design, and the upper and lower parts of the broken data line can be conducted through the path on the pixel, which can save the power amplifier OP often used in the under-screen repair design and reduce product development costs. Different display modes, different borrowing paths, different pixel structures, and different corresponding restoration designs.
