(1) Check liquid crystal module and product application
When using the liquid crystal module all the time, pay attention to the viewing angle of the liquid crystal is consistent with the product use, check the installation direction, you can find the viewing angle parameter in the drawing of the LCD liquid crystal module and confirm it.
(2) When using it, you need to handle it with care
Dropping it or colliding with hard objects will cause the LCD screen to break or shatter. Pay special attention to the corners.
(3) Carefully scratch the surface of the liquid crystal module
Since there is a layer of soft polarizer on the surface of the LCD module (the surface layer that suppresses reflection), take care not to scratch the surface. It is generally recommended to use a protective screen made of transparent plastic material on the liquid crystal surface, and try to wear finger gloves when operating.
(4) It should be stored in the specified temperature and humidity range
If the LCD module is stored below the specified temperature, the liquid crystal material will condense and the performance will deteriorate. If the LCD module is stored at a temperature higher than the specified temperature, the molecular alignment direction of the liquid crystal material will change to a liquid state, which may not return to its original state. Exceeding the temperature and humidity range, it will cause peeling or blistering of the polarizer. Therefore, the LCD module should be stored in the specified temperature range, and if there is a need for an LCD screen that can still work normally at -40°C and above 85°C.
(5) Deal with surface stains in time and keep them clean
If the surface of the LCD module encounters saliva or dripping water, it should be wiped off immediately to avoid color changes or stains after a long time. The use environment should try to avoid excessive moisture, and water vapor will cause corrosion of ITO electrodes. When cleaning the surface of the LCD screen, you should wipe it lightly with cotton or soft cloth. If it still cannot be removed, wipe it with alcohol.
(6) Operate and use according to the instructions
The driver of the LCD liquid crystal module should comply with the specified rated indicators to avoid failure and permanent damage. Applying a DC voltage to the liquid crystal material will cause the liquid crystal material to deteriorate rapidly. In order to prevent the chip from being damaged by excessive current, ensure that the power supply operates according to the specification.
